Got a question from the blog asking if it's a good idea to have a shorter club to practice with inside, where space is limited. My answer: Yes!
I use a shorter club on the Back Porch because you can see it better. Adding a smaller club for practice is excellent. Any time you can grip a club will help. You'll also be able to practice your setup much better. You could even add a little weight to the head to help condition muscle.
But I think I would ad one more element. Add a full length mirror to the mix so you can see yourself. For example, you can watch that front knee. Is it kicking in an inch or five inches? It may only feel like an inch but a mirror will give you much better feedback. And the more feedback you get, the quicker the learning experience.
Go for the short club, add a mirror, and practice. Remember, perfect practice makes perfect.
