I was watching the Bob Hope Classic and a celebrity came on at the break to get a lesson from a teacher. This wasn't just a tip, but it looked like a real "make-over."
I watched the celebrity's swing. It wasn't bad. No big turn and close to a T-Finish. His head didn't move and he seemed pretty confident.
But he was told he had to make that big turn, and get his back facing the target. The celebrity also needed to have his head move away from the ball.
It was obvious to me. Was it obvious to you?
ALWAYS ASK if the swing being taught conforms to physics and physiology. Be forewarned, you probably won't get an answer. I do want you to keep an open mind, listen, learn. But what other sport asks you to turn your back to the target '¦ for starters?
