Take the Pledge: No Flip

Jim, a low handicap player, had one major problem. Sort of out of nowhere, he'd unintentionally hit a pull. And, occasionally, a push. He's an Inner Circle member, has all the videos and the Foundation Manual, but he still had this problem.

His problem was immediately obvious: On his backswing, he'd kind of flip the club, missing the catcher's mitt and causing the club to be laid off. Guaranteed pulls. The pushes were caused by over correction. Remember, the Peak Performance Golf Swing is a limited turn, vertical backswing. In this video I should you how to “take the pledge” with both hands. Or practice like a baseball pitcher. Make that triangle in the backswing with your elbows. It's a quick drill to get in the catcher's mitt and up the tree.
