Introducing SwingTECH

Fri, 04/15/2011 - 22:23 -- Don Trahan

I would like to introduce you to a great tool, and the only swing plane product I endorse. It's called SwingTECH and I guarantee that it will help you develop the Surge Swing.

One of my favorite Surgisms is about the importance of the practice swing. If you've been with me for a while, you've heard me say: Before hitting a shot, practice your swing until you "Feel the Swing and then Swing the Feel." The SwingTECH will help you quickly develop that feel so that when you get to the practice tee (or the tee box!), that feeling will be second nature to you. You'll instantly know when you've made a good practice swing and this will allow you to confidently setup and make a great swing.

In the video, my head instructor, Greg MacDonell, and I show you how to setup and ultimately use SwingTECH, but we also go in depth about the benefits that it offers. This really is a remarkable product and I believe in it 100%.

If you like what you see, head on over to Surge's Shop or click here to order one today.

Keep it vertical (and believe me, you will with this product),

The Surge!

My dad's generation has been called "the greatest generation" and for good reason. They got off of their butts and went to work with a "root hog or die young" attitude.
If the current incentives to NOT WORK were in place at the time they were growing up in extreme hardships during the depression does anyone really think they would have gotten off of their butts and accomplished what they did?
The biggest mistake they made was leaving behind spoiled generations to follow. They only wanted us to have it better than they did. Little did they realize the monster they were creating.
The progressives aren't stupid. The "game plan" they hatched out back in the early part of last century is a patient plan, and is slowly but surely coming to fruition. In simple terms the plan was to infiltrate the educational system (check) infiltrate the political system (check) infiltrate the media (double check) and create dependency on them, "nanny state" (check mate, game over, thanks for playing).

Dick Lee:

You just reminded me of an ancient Walt Disney cartoon. One of the characters (Goofy as I recall) is out in a boat fishing. The boat spriings a leak, water is poring in, etc. The cartoon character immediately starts drilling more hole in the bottom of the boat "to allow the water to escape" -- of course the boat sinks - even in a cartoon.

Sadly, that is goverment in aciton.

As you like to say, You are spot on.

That is why I have never "voted the ticket."

We need term limits.

Are you talking about a pole or the swing tech?

Be careful how much information you give out on here. Big brother is watching.

Very well put pal. Sometimes these guys get so caught up on the verbiage that they don't even try to grasp the concept.

I don't care if Surge used the wrong term, as long as he gets the concept right.

I know the swing works for me. The end.

Hi all,
This is way off topic here but I feel it is quite important for all you guys living in the states,
You may already know or have an inkling of the debt problem your government has but I think you need to see this video I found just now....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtVbUm... 3mins long
I intend to travel to your Great Nation at some point in my life and I don't want it to be a third world when I get the chance.

You are right on the money my friend. Our founding fathers went out of their way to keep us from being a democracy. Why do you think all the socialist and communist countries call themselves the Democratic People's party of this or that?

Democracy is mob rule with no thought of individual rights. All you need is 51% of the vote and it is done.

Democracy is "Two wolves and a lamb voting on what is for dinner."

Liberty is "A well armed lamb demanding a recount."

Just another well armed lamb putting in my vote,
Dick

Hi Robert,
You're right, I did mix my metaphors, so to speak! A 180 pound person would need about 81 GRAMS of protein - and that's if they're very active. And according to the Zone diet (which I loosely follow), 7 grams of protein is about 1 ounce, so 81 grams/7 = about 11-12 ounces of protein per day.
I'm trying to figure out how that conversion reconciles with the 28 grams you reference above, but I just checked my Zone Perfect book and that's the reference they give). Thanks for the correction!

What ever next - another piece of golfing "junk" who ever thinks these things up ??? From clubs that break to braces around the arms and now a piece of rope on a tree !!! Sorry Don but you have lost me. I have been following Paul Wilson now and he seems to talk more sense and really demonstrates his way of hitting a ball.

First, the answer to the question is yes, most that have been living off of the government's tit for very long at all don't want to work. I can name ten people right off the top of my head that are doing that and have no intention whatsoever of getting a job, especially one that they consider beneath them.

Second, helping someone in need is one thing. Taking my money and giving to those people so that they can live at a higher standard than I do is nuts.
My cousin's wife's sister and her husband got laid off and started drawing unemployment and food stamps. They said they would be crazy to go back to work. I figured it up and they now have more income than my wife and I have. The amount of food stamp money that they get is shocking to me. I had no idea. A helping hand shouldn't be letting the ones that won't work eat steak three meals a day, and drive around in nice cars, and live in nice houses.

Third, the best way to distribute what those people that truly do need a helping hand need is certainly not to send the money to Washington and let them pass it around a little, spend a little here and there paying the salaries of the people taking it, then in the end dole out what little is left to bureaucrats to pass around some more, pay top prices for any products bought to "help the poor" and in the end maybe just maybe someone that needs something will get it.

If you subsidize people to not work you will get more not working. That sir is a fact.

Phil NZ,

I have also heard this story and it is very insightful. There are those in the Ultra-Left who want us to go down that road and, unfortunately, a large percentage of Americans believe what the media tells them - this is the way the world is going; it will happen; and there is nothing you can do about it, so "Get With The Program!" It makes me sick. Even my own kids were headed down that road, but are seeing the light and trying to change. I pray for them every day. The Great Deceiver pulls people along one tiny step at a time, just like the pigs with the corn. Only the Savior can save us, but we have to do our part and recognize the wiles of the Deceiver.

Dick,
It really wasn't great round, just had some great highlights. LOL
I had four three putt bogeys and didn't get up and down a few more times after great drives.

There has been a lot of talk on the blog about "magic". I'll tell you what is "magic". If I do a good job with balance and keep my hands and wrists in the right position it doesn't matter what I do I almost can't miss with iron shots.

Now for practicing my putting (I'm supposed to be good at that) and didn't think I needed to practice any more.......Oh.... It doesn't work that way, does it?

Hey Phil, what an eye opening video. What P's me off about the video is the WHO that the Americans owe the money to. The free world owes a huge debt that has never been recognized or repaid, these banks in Zurich or where ever would not have existed under a Stalinist or a Fascist dictatorship if the Americans had not got involved in the major global conflicts.

If it wasn't for the big Easy (USS Enterprise) and the South Pacific fleet fighting off the Japanese invasion of Australasia during the battle of the Coral Sea for example then I might not have been born because my grand parents and my parents might have perished in death labour camps.

So it sickens me that those who have not contributed to the maintenance of their own freedom will screw over those who have given these ingrates the means to do so, it beggars belief.

Regards, Craig S

I heard a very good solution from my brother in Massachuesetts - resurrect the equivalent of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) that existed before WWII. With all the destruction we have seen recently, the Feds could take all that stimulus money and pay all the unemployed to go where the damage is to help with reconstruction. Let's face it - we will never run out to disasters. This would put the unemployed to work, help those in need when they need it most, boost the economy by buying the materials necessary, and give the politicians something worthwhile to feel good about.

Maybe what we need to do is make everybody work to vote - disable the ability to pull one lever for a straight ticket. If people have to actually vote for each candidate, they will have to become better informed and maybe, just maybe, we can get better people into office.

You always seem to have a problem with what ever and how ever the Surge teaches anything.

Why do you stick with this site if he is always wrong?

Where can we all find your teaching videos and your site?

Just wondering,

I am the same way. As long as I can get a drink every once in a while, I can still go all day.

When I was doing desert training in the Corps, I could go all day. The "athletes" in our group could not understand how I could take the heat and hard physical work in those conditions. I told them boys that this was nothing. I was used to working out in the heat for long days on the farm and construction. One of the worst things I ever had to do was when we did the NBC (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical) training. We were out in the sun all day. We had to wear these air tight, black, charcoal suits which weighted about 100 pounds for hours at a time. You could lose 8-10 pounds in a day.

Maybe I should buy one to wear it around one day every week. I wonder if I could do the Surge Swing in one. Heck, I can't do the Surge Swing without one.

I had a look and there are no Swingtech's on ebay, so take that for what its worth,
But you're right it does look like the guy demonstrating on the Swingtech homepage is in the SBG
but I cant see how thats possible if you set up properly with it, the mechanics simply wont allow it. Maybe the camera is not directly above him?

Dick,
That's what I meant by "spoiled generations". My dad had a masters degree and was a teacher. He also was the pastor of a church and worked at a Royal Castle hamburger place at night flipping burgers.
My mom was a teacher and piano player and choir director at church and taught piano lessons all afternoon after school. Then she drove to Jacksonville State University (about an hour drive) at night to continue her education.
The next day they got up and did it all over again.
The whole family planted vegetables to take to the market for some extra money.
So I get in a bad mood in a hurry when people too lazy too work think they are entitled to anything, especially when working people are struggling and are the ones footing the bill for the deadbeats.
If someone needs a hand and they are trying I will give them the shirt off of my back, even if I don't have another one, but I won't lift a finger for a lazy person that won't work.
The federal government should provide defense, some infrastructure, and yes a little border security for a change, and that's about it.
Charity money should be a little closer to home so people can keep an eye on how it's spent.
Unemployed? Get up and go clean up parks or trash on the road for 8 hours every day and you can get your check.
Food stamps? Neighborhood soup kitchens to keep people from starving. Any unemployed adults not picking up trash can work in the soup kitchens to be eligible for their unemployment checks and the right to eat.
Driving a new BMW, have a big screen TV, live in a $200,000 house? You get nothing. Sell something and go to work flipping burgers.

B - I read your comment carefully. I have been following Don from his introductory materials, practiced at home, and implemented on the course. I clearly saw the benefits of his approach and what I liked the most is, when I followed in sequence, it is so easy to remember and embrace his approach. It does produce results. Unlike you when Paul Wilson came on the scene...(in this transition), I was suprpised at the difficulty of explaining, and retaining his technique/tips, etc. Another thing that impresses me is Don's system is based on the physics and anatomical fundamentals of the body. At first I thought it might be an "old man's swing", but look at the results and stats of DJ on the tour. That's the only swing he's ever known and his stats prove it works - and he hits them LONG and hits fairways and greens. My recommendation to anyone is follow Don's techniques from the starter videos, includng purchasing them, and don't jump into the middle of these techniques. But whatever you choose, good luck. Bob
