Lynn Griffin, Director of Club Fitting, has some pretty strong opinions about the new adjustable drivers.
He says that to get any noticeable difference in ball flight path and trajectory you would have to add 25 grams of additional weight in one location. With the new clubs you can't do that.
He says that it is true that adding any weight to a club will have some effect on the club. But he asks, 'Will you be able to notice?'
I really like the part where he talks about pouring a cup of water into the ocean. With his usual dry humor and good sense Lynn concludes, as I do, that along with a good fitting, you've got to learn to swing your club the right way.
