Extending Too Far

Thu, 11/04/2010 - 01:00 -- Don Trahan

Some of my long time students were having problems with the T-Finish. It turned out they got into the habit of extending too far in the follow through or forward upswing as I like to call it. A few decades ago it was popular to “stay down” on the ball after impact until your shoulder hit your chin. That definitely isn't the case with the Peak Performance Golf Swing.

What do we do? Get up quickly, like a Pop Tart out of a toaster. Like skipping rocks. That way you'll get up to our T-Finish in balance. Arm extension can be too much of a good thing.
