We received a great comment on the blog from Deb. It's her advice about how to best learn the Surge Swing based on her experience of changing from a rotational swinger to a vertical swinger. And boy is she right!
Deb said that as she was 'converting' over to the Surge Swing, she tried to keep piece of her old swing to go with it. Her advice? 'Throw it all out and start fresh.' She's absolutely correct.
The Surge Swing is based, 100%, on the laws of physics and physiology. Other swings out there are basically a compromise of those laws. With the Surge Swing, if your game starts to go south, you can always ' and immediately ' go back to your fundamentals, the most basic being, 'The setup determines the motion."
So, as Deb advises, start with a clean slate. You'll be glad you did.
