Save Power on Your Practice Swing

You know how I'€™m always saying, '€œMake perfect practice swings'€ before you hit the ball. Well, that hasn'€™t changed at all. Feel the swing, then swing the feel. Make a perfect setup. Tone those muscles.

But what I want to make very clear is that the power level you use in your practice swing should only be about 30% – 40%, no more. I was talking with some golfers not too long ago, about conserving energy on the course. If you made a practice swing at 100% power, you'€™d end up making well over 100, 200 full power swings! Way too many.

So I thought you'€™d enjoy this little video about conserving energy and still come out swinging.

The Surge!
