Think, Visualize, Swing

Our last school was really extraordinary, especially because of one student, Linda. For one thing, she was the first lady golfer who came on her own. She told me she is dedicated to play better golf and now knows she made the right choice with the Peak Performance Golf Swing.

But what was really great was the insight she shared about how she finally figured out how to get the club, toe up, into the catcher's mitt and up the tree in the backswing. She thought about what we'd told her, then that night she started to visualize what the swing would look like. She started to play golf holes in her mind and fell asleep doing so. The following morning she had it nailed.

When our subconscious knows the how and the why, we can then do it! I remember when DJ was little, maybe 8 or 9, when the family would be sitting in front of the fireplace watching some Disney movie. All of a sudden, DJ would jump and do some golf swings (without club) and wouldn't miss a frame of the movie. Of course he blocked everyone's view and was strongly reminded of the fact. He'd sit down only to do it again 15 minutes later. It was just spontaneous. He was seeing the movie, but subconsciously was also “seeing” his swing.

Think it, feel it, see it, swing.

The Surge!
