Controlled Rotation of Clubhead: Toe Up to Toe Up

Sun, 09/27/2015 - 13:00 -- Don Trahan

I received another testimonial from a converted rotational golfer, and the results are simply amazing. He's now able to play an entire round of golf while maintaining complete control of the golf ball. He credits the "toe up to toe up" concept as instrumental in helping him see that he was swinging too much from the inside to the out.

Perhaps the most telling advantage of the Peak Performance Golf Swing is that going into the change, he thought that he would be sacrificing distance for accuracy. As it turns out (and like I always say), he was surprised to see he was an entire club longer through the bag. He also said he was hitting the ball "infinitely" straighter.

Watch the video above to get a refresher course on the basic elements of the "toe up to toe up" position of the clubhead during the swing. I'll also reference the importance of "on, on, on, square and solid", which is another key ingredient to the PPGS.

Keep it vertical!

I find that I try to hit and swing the club fast so I can remain square but yes does not work I hook the ball or slice the heck out of it with the driver and I can not figure out how to correct this. I don't seam to have any tempo what to do.

Surge:
Great video as always. I think the cause of my worst shots which are fat or pulls, is caused by not rotating enough which causes my swing to get too steep.
Last outing I focused on this and started really hitting it well. Playing Tue or Wed this week, hope to continue this. Overall a great season - broke both 9 and 18 hole records. Shot +5 last month for 18, previous best was +8. 9 Holes best was +2, shot -1 twice!!!! First time at Bald Mountain, second time at Maple during the +5 round. Was -2 going into last hole but 3 putted.
Your swing is the best - have played the whole year with back issues, but with this swing I have had no problems. Keep up the great work, hope your trip to Michigan was a success.
DJ - Keep working hard, good things will come.
Rest of Surge Nation - God bless all of you, hit em well.
